The PROFSAUDE / MPSF is a stricto sensu postgraduate program in Public Health, recognized by the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) of the Ministry of Education. Its objectives are: to train professionals able to act as preceptors for undergraduate and medical residency in basic care, with the aim of contributing to the improvement of the care of users of the Unified Health System (SUS); strengthen the educational activities of knowledge production and management in Family Health in the various regions of the country and establish an integrative relationship between the health service, workers, students in the area of ​​health and users.
